IMPLEMENTATION OUTLINE

When a student’s physical, mental, and social needs are met, they have better focus, less behavior issues, and a willingness to learn and retain course content. When the faculty and staff needs are met, there are less absences and morale is boosted. When parents' needs are met, they are able to support their students. Community Focus is an online blended learning wellness initiative that seeks to assist with the physical, mental, and social health needs of the district by building an initiative where everyone can assess their health needs, get educated in areas where they may be struggling, be connected with resources and specialists who can better serve them, attend health webinars,  and lend support to each other through support groups and online discussions. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to promote wellness and decrease the number of people with preventable diseases through education and engagement.
